JOB SUMMARY

Provide a summary of the job’s primary function: The Department of Bioengineering is seeking a driven, dynamic professional to become an Administrative and Project Assistant. This person will serve as the primary point of contact for all essential matters pertaining to the Department Chair, and act as a liaison between the Chair and the College of Engineering’s executive team, department leadership team, external partners, and other stakeholders. The position is responsible for developing effective systems for managing the Chair’s administrative needs and for providing planning and oversight to ensure their time is utilized effectively to advance the priorities of the department and College. This person will also coordinate administrative tasks for the department, such as catering requests, room bookings, coordinate faculty meetings and write minutes, assist in department purchases, assist in academic support in regards to scheduling classes and support general projects. • Coordination and ownership of the IT due diligence process and tools, in partnership with the Firm’s Investor Relations function

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
• 10+ years of experience in disaster recovery, operational risk, resiliency, crisis management, business continuity
• Expertise in Business Resiliency requirements, setting and measuring Recovery Point Objectives (RPO), Recovery Time Objectives (RTO), Business Continuity planning and development of Business Impact Analysis documentation
• Able to effectively influence across multiple teams, leaders, organizations, and/or the enterprise
• Business knowledge and partnership: Able to translate continuity and resiliency terminology, posture, standing, and risks to stakeholders and regulators
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Technical certifications or previous technical experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus
• Proactive, motivated, and a collaborative team player
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

ERM is hiring multiple consulting Mine Exploration Geologists. The successful candidate will work on a remote lithium mine exploration project site located in a remote part of New England. This is a full-time (40hours plus OT), limited-term opportunity with a duration of 6 months, extendable.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collection of field geologic data to support the development of geologic maps, conceptual geologic and hydrogeologic models, and a resource estimate.
• Oversee bedrock drilling and field-testing via multiple drilling methods (i.e. coring, RC drilling, and sonic) in remote site locations.
• Coordinate and direct drilling, surveying, and laboratory services.
• Communicate with subcontractors, project management, and client during the implementation of field activities.
• Assist in data interpretation and preparation of site work plans, spreadsheets, figures, and technical reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, or related discipline strongly preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience as a field geologist, experience working on mine exploration projects is a plus.
• Experience with geologic mapping, geotechnical and geophysical data collection, sample collection of laboratory analysis, experience using handheld X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) analyzers a plus.
• Experience with logging soil/rock cores, Reverse Circulation Drilling (RC Drilling).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills; experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety, including following established Health and Safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
