Asset & Facilities Management

• Manage and oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, including regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for Asset & facilities services such as cleaning, pest control, and security.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and risk assessments.
• Handle facility-related requests from staff and address any maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain an inventory of facility supplies and equipment, ensuring their availability and upkeep.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve facilities management processes and enhance workplace efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree, diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control processes, warehouse operations, and facilities maintenance.
• Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to warehousing and facilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within the industry, e.g., wholesale, retail, distribution, AudioVisual ].
• Certification in facilities management or inventory control (e.g., Certified Facility Manager, Certified in Production and Inventory Management).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct Training and Updates:
  • Conduct training and updates for sourcing event templates {Invitation To Quote (ITQ) / Invitation To Tender (ITT)} to be used by Stakeholders
  • Develop training guides and conduct training sessions for users on procurement processes.
• Template Integration:
  • Integrate templates into the Ariba system for streamlined procurement processes.
  • Plan and manage process flow for templates to third party system (i.e. CDMS).
  • Develop evaluation report templates for ITQ/ITT to assess procurement events effectively.
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to standardize Terms and Conditions, Conditions of Contracts, and Letters of Acceptance.
  • Serve as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all queries related to procurement processes, Ariba system, and policies.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during the implementation of procurement systems.
• Data Migration:
  • Facilitate procurement data migration activities & strategy, including the fine-tuning of procurement taxonomy (commodity code).
• Strategic Procurement Leadership:
  • Deputize for the Project Director as needed, providing leadership and direction to the project team in his/her absence.
  • Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to optimize procurement activities and achieve cost efficiencies.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Basic Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement.
  • Proven experience in procurement processes and systems, particularly Ariba.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and a proactive approach to problem solving and conflict resolution.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in documentation.
• Preferred requirements but not mandatiory:
  • Certification in Ariba or related procurement software.
  • Proven experience in project management and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with data migration, especially commodity codes
  • Experience in data analytics tool such as Power BI etc would be advantageous.
  • Experienced in S2C and P2P processes.

My client is a leading company in the chemical services industry and they are looking for an experienced Assistant Finance Manager / Senior Accoutant to join them.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will manage full sets of accounts for 1 subsidiary, oversee month-end and year-end closing, prepare financial reports, ensure compliance with statutory filings, prepare GST and tax returns. You will also be liaising with external auditors and tax agents, handling inventory reconciliation, and maintaining the fixed assets register.

Office location: West

The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of accounting experience, proficient in ERP systems, and good understanding of Singapore FRS/IFRS standards, Candidate with prior industry experience in chemical manufacturing, industrial services/ oil & gas/ environmental services preferred.
