This role will influence how Mac brings new levels of innovation to creative industries, film, television and music production; how it enables scientific discoveries or enables medical advancements and how its versatility creates new ways of working in business, learning in the classroom, and enabling creativity in households and studios.

• This role will work in partnership with agency teams across the region to create strategies and deliver campaigns that increase awareness and understanding of products and their software.
• The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a variety of other teams and functions to create and deliver the activity that increases awareness and understanding. This may include other product PR managers, including Apple Intelligence and operating systems, SEA product PR Managers across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, education and health, Product Marketing and Marcom teams.
• This role will help find new relationships amongst the talent and communities that use our products to deliver the world’s most exciting work, and will be tasked with leading our efforts in finding new media and social platforms through which we can tell those stories.
• This role will involve travel up to 30%.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience preferred
• 8+ years experience in public relations, influencer relations or PR agency in Southeast Asia
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the biotech and life sciences sectors, in both collaborations and sales.
• Development of sales plan and execution of the plan.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of cell culture techniques and applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• An organized, meticulous, and disciplined person with a good eye for details.
• Good proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Willingness to meet people around Singapore as required.

Job Description

The Department of Japanese Studies and the Department of Chinese Studies at the National University of Singapore jointly invite applications for the post of Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) in East Asian Media and Film Studies. The successful candidate will be jointly appointed in both departments, with a higher weightage in the department their research focuses more on.

The successful applicant will be expected to have a strong commitment to a) teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; b) providing supervision to undergraduate and graduate students and c) undertaking research in East Asian Media and Film Studies and other related fields; as well as d) playing an active role in both Departments’ curriculum and development. They should possess advanced professional proficiency in English, Mandarin and Japanese as they will need to conduct research and teach classes in all 3 languages.
