The General Maintenance & Operations Supervisor performs a dual role involving both managerial and supervisory responsibilities. Managerial responsibilities cover activities both within the Shop and as a participant in and contributor to the overall management. The supervisory responsibilities involve the technical leadership and direction of a staff of various trades and skills, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, welding, pipefitting, carpentry, framing, wood crafting, painting, and masonry.

In this position, you will:

• Act as a principal advisor to the Zone Manager on maintenance operations involving the metals, electrical, paint, woodcraft, and HVAC Shop’s responsibilities for painting, machining, carpentry, and

Painting: Performs standard coating methods such as brushing, rolling and spraying, by the use of coating materials that are prepared according to specific directions, and by the application of coating techniques that insure surfaces are fully coated, protected, and free from drips and runs. • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Professional verbal and written communication skills.

• Superior customer service skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and/or situations. 

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. 

• Availability to be on-call and responsive to after hour emergencies.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

• Bilingual in Spanish required.

*The First-Year Bonus, less usual deductions, will be divided into two equal payments: the first payment following the completion of 90 days of employment, and the second payment following the completion of 1 year of employment.

This position is non-exempt; the range above reflects hourly rates.

The pay range displayed for this position is determined by skills and experience required, location and job complexity*. Potential job offers may vary based on the skills, education, and experience an individual candidate holds. This range reflects base rate only, and does not include allowances, perks, commissions or bonuses applicable to this position (if any).
