ABOUT THE POST

Reporting to the Security Coordinator you will be involved in the provision of security services at our busy campuses at Holloway & Aldgate, working within a team of 10 Security Officers and 4 Security Shift Supervisors. Key duties of the role also include the monitoring of Health & Safety, Fire Safety and Emergency procedures, and the provision of first aid support to building users. The role can be physically demanding as you will be required to carry out regular patrols and health & safety compliance checks.

The security team covers all building opening times, which currently range between 06:00 to 00:30 Monday – Friday and between 07:00 – 19:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. All members of the team will be rostered to cover our building opening hours, including any subsequent changes to these hours.

You should have experience in a customer service and support role, together with a good working knowledge of operating security, CCTV, fire, intruder and access control systems. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to respond effectively in crisis situations.

You will be a qualified First Aider or be willing to train as such. You should hold an appropriate SIA license or be willing to train as such.

How will a day on the job look?

You will be frequently communicating between the Rossi Security Head Office and the client throughout the job. The purpose of the post is: Security Officers are responsible for the overall safety and security of the College. The security team plays a critical role in the College’s culture and climate. A calm, structured, and positive learning environment is top priority for the College, the Student Security Assistant is actively involved in the progressive discipline system and provides the first line of defence to defuse and de-escalate student misconduct and/or serious incidents. The post holder should have extensive experience of working in access control/security or working with young adults in a supervisory role in youth/social/sport work. The post holder will be working on a shift system operating Monday to Friday: 08.00 – 22:00, during college terms. Outside term-time, hours are limited to day time. Hours may change from week to week. The post-holder will be expected to take all leave outside college term-time except in an emergency or exceptionally by agreement with their manager.

As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will work closely with senior BD team members & Partners to proactively drive BD activities for the firm's largest sector group. This is a global role & will see you work with colleagues across the US & EMEA.
Whilst no day will be the same, your role will involve coming up with new ideas to help fee-earners win business for the firm, identify new business opportunities, & suggest where the firm can capitalise on existing client relationships. You'll help executive exciting client events, deliver an engaging schedule of thought leadership content, work on multichannel marketing campaigns, & work on business-winning pitches.

This Senior Business Development Executive role is a permanent, full-time position based in Central London with hybrid working options available (3/2 split).

Key Responsibilities:
* Assess and strengthen security configurations within Azure IaaS.
* Provide expert security recommendations aligned with industry standards and emerging threat landscapes.
* Administer and secure Azure environments, including IaaS, container security (e.g., AKS), and DevOps pipelines.
* Evaluate Terraform scripts and advise on secure automation practices.
* Leverage Azure Defender and other monitoring tools to enhance threat detection.
* Implement Conditional Access policies to enforce zero trust and least privilege principles.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security efforts with operational objectives.
Key skills:
* Experience: Proven background in cloud security, especially within Azure IaaS and Google Cloud environments.
