We are offering a position to the right candidate, to join our security team at Clarks Village, where you will work both day and night shifts on a 42hr per week contract. As a member of the team you will be offered regular training, keeping in line with current legislation and regulations. Main responsibilities

The main day to day responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

-Working to strict Health and Safety procedures and legislation

-Upholding and complying to all site AI's, UK legislation and Regulations

-Providing excellent customer service to client, visitors, guests and contractors

-Good representation of oneself, keeping high levels of hygiene and presentation.

-Completing effective and efficient handovers when starting and ending shifts.

-Locking and unlocking the centre.

-Regular patrols following use of CAFM systems

-Good understanding and mandatory use of reporting equipment e.g. pocket notebooks, Body Worn Cameras, key handling, radio use etc.

-Evacuation marshal responsibilities

-Relationship building and assisting with brand partners in crime stopping procedures

-Building good professional relationships with local police and PCSOs

-Responsibility of diffusing anti-social behaviour on centre premises

-Providing first aid on site where necessary



Skills and experience

The following skills and experience are preferred but not mandatory:

-SIA Door Supervisor accreditation (CCTV desirable)

-IOSH trained

-Good articulation, the ability to communicate effectively with clients, guests and contractors

-The ability to demonstrate high levels of customer service and satisfaction

-Excellent time management and the ability to work in a dynamic environment

-Clean enhanced DBS record

Security Controller

£13.46 per hour

4 on 4 off (2days. 2 nights)

We are looking for an organised, efficient, and experienced Control Room Operator to join our security team for Mitie Business Services. You will be working within a supportive team to maintain and monitor CCTV, intruder, and fire alarm panels.

Your key responsibilities will include assisting with daily operational requirements - ensuring compliance and accurate recording of incidents to outline identified risks. As part of your role, you will be required to escalate incidents, report Health and Safety concerns, and respond to emergency situations also producing accurate reports to ensure alarms are efficiently responded to.

Our ideal candidate will have awareness of the law across, The Private Security Industry, Health and Safety for the Private Security Operative, Fire Safety, Technology and Systems in the Security environment and Emergency Procedures.

Hays are working with a Bromsgrove based Legal firm who are recruiting for a Legal Secretary to join them on a permanent basis.
Your new role
You will provide administrative support a specific division in the Firm with duties to include:

• Handle new client enquiries on the telephone or in person and dealing with queries
• Closing and updating files and other records on the database
• Maintaining the storage of files
• Allocating post to the appropriate persons
• Supporting with the chasing of clients for payment of costs/ disbursements
• Filing and scanning of documents
• Diary management
• Undertake basic drafting of documents and due diligence where needed
• Any other duties and assistance commensurate to the role, as required from time to time.

This role is full time working Monday to Friday in the office.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in the legal sector, or a similar role will be highly desired. Other requirements are:

• A proficient level of literacy and numeracy and experience MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience of data entry and/or text processing
• Touch and audio typing experience desirable
• Proactive and able to work on own initiative alongside team working skills
• Organised and methodical with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• An understanding of and adherence to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and maintaining confidentiality and integrity at all times.
