The main purpose of the role:
As one of our Education Learning Support Practitioners your role will be to assist our students during sessions within all areas of vocational training and support the hotel business team at Foxes Hotel.
Your role is to help achieve our mission which is to equip young adults with learning disabilities to find sustainable employment in the hospitality sector and to live independently
Key duties:
You will have high expectations of all students, and to constantly challenge and stretch each student at every opportunity.
Support the students in their learning, enabling them to reach their full potential.
Professionally and effectively support with managing student behaviour, seeking further advice and guidance where appropriate.
Support every student to make progress in each session under the guidance of the tutor, and to assist the tutor in ensuring this progress is recorded, evidenced and evaluated effectively and efficiently.
Creatively produce resources that will support student progress.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.

We have a busy 6 weeks from the start of January 2025 (schedules of work to be given in December) and are looking for key people in your location. Paid training days will take place in December and paid before Christmas.

Work throughout 2025 on a project-by-project basis.

Role and Responsibilities


Visiting retailers and using detailed planograms to update the stand (attention to detail)
Moving and installing new parts around and resequencing stock according to a new planogram
Changing over the visuals/graphics
Maintaining the stand, keeping it looking fresh for customers that visit the store
Travelling to your depot* for kit collection, which is paid time.


What will I get in return?


Training: Provided in full and you are paid – This will be in December and paid before Christmas
Work: Assignment basis, under own supervision



Travel: Regionally, 50 to 80 miles of your home
Location: Field Based – working in various high street retailers
Hours: 8 hr days
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £15.00 per hour plus expenses (fuel/parking etc.)
Equipment: Uniform, Company van (for business use only), and PPE are all provided where applicable
Flexibility: Work when you are available on a variety of projects

Working as the Senior NPD Technologist / Food and Beverage Product Developer your primary focus will be on multifaceted beverage projects, ensuring effective project management and adherence to timelines. DUTIES

Your duties as a Senior NPD Technologist / Food and Beverage Product Developer include:

• Manage key customers’ accounts confidently and independently for NPD and EPD projects from concept to launch for multiple workstreams

• Create and develop innovative recipes, capitalising on new key trends for both NPD and EPD projects

• Recipe creation and maintaining all documentation throughout project life cycle – recipe & nutritional sheets, costings, legal labels, submission forms, processing details

• Undertake all tasks associated with product development – sample preparation, customer presentation, organoleptic testing, chemical testing, micro review

• Responsible for sourcing new ingredients fit for application and based on commercial feasibility (MOQ, lead time, price)

• Responsible for ensuring lab samples are sent on time

• Lead and attend tasting panels for projects including benchmarking sessions

• Attend and lead customer development/innovation days as required

• Direct communication with key customers, both face to face and written

• Work to deadlines in a dynamic work environment ensuring that all key milestones for projects are met

• Work closely with process technologist to organise pilot trials, ensure all raw materials are ordered in advance and provide support at pilot stage

• Support 1st production at co-packing sites as required


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Practical hands-on NPD experience, with ability to demonstrate working within a customer facing NPD technologist role in the food industry is essential, ideally with beverage application knowledge

• Knowledge and some experience of beverage ingredients, stabilising systems, and their functionality

• Excellent organisation and coordinating skills with the ability to perform well under pressure and able to satisfy a multiple customer base

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident, articulate, and courteous communicator both verbal and written

• Proficient user in all aspects of Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets

• Accuracy, attention to detail and numerate approach to provide information on time in the right format

• Competent, adaptable and works on their own initiative

• Undertakes tasks with enthusiasm and takes pride in their work

• Innovation and creativity with an eye on current and future trends

• Good interpersonal skills

• Problem solving skills

• Minimum of degree level in a relevant scientific subject

• Understanding of Basic HACCP Principles; qualified (Level 3 minimum)

• Knowledge of relevant ingredient legislation, especially labelling

• UK full driving licence and own transport to get to site required

Due to a formation of a new department, we are looking for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join a national technician’s team to support our customers.This role is ideal for a Level 2 and 3 Technician who enjoys versatile day-to-day job activities as every day comes with new challenges. You will be comfortable with face-to-face interactions with our customers providing professional service.

As a mobile technician, you will not be required to have your own tools, these will be provided to you with a work van.

What you’ll be doing….


Carry out general servicing of vehicles and repairs (if qualified)
Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to its original condition
Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed


Who you are….


Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mechanical Inspector
Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 (required)
Full valid UK driving licence is essential, held for a minimum of 2 years
