You will be responsible for technical aspects of the Insider Threat.....
- You will be responsible for technical aspects of the Insider Threat Program (InTP) automated tools in a coordinated effort to protect the Command's information from insider threats.
- You will detect, analyze, and conduct preliminary inquiries into threats to information and assets physically and logically housed within or managed by MCISRE, referring suspected or confirmed threats to officials for investigation and action.
- You will implement and perform user activity monitoring, audit capabilities, and network and system design.
- You will implement Insider Threat Program (InTP) audit capabilities, defined triggers, and data collection tools.
- You will establish information assurance procedures related to combating the insider threat.
- You will develop policies and procedures to ensure insider threat associated information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
- You will ensure Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, and Marine Corps security policies, procedures, and practices are adhered to when providing security engineering solutions to projects.
- You will assist in the development of Insider Threat Program (InTP) systems security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.
- You will assess audit and security events to determine impact and implementation of corrective action.
- You will assist in the development and coherent presentation of threats and potential investigative leads related to Insider Threat Program (InTP).
- You will participate in the gathering, analysis, and preservation of evidence used in the identification of potential or suspected insider threats.
- You will participate in network and systems design to ensure implementation of appropriate systems security policies related to insider threat.
- You will provide advice to decision-makers in setting security program goals and establishing priorities to support the development of policy and procedures for implementation of higher level security guidance.
- You will gather information system requirements, perform security assessment to determine vulnerabilities, and develops or acquires engineering solutions.
