• Resolve routine and non-routine security policy and procedural problems related to information security programs throughout the Command.
• Provide authoritative and technical evaluations of current Department of the Army (DA) and Dept. of Defense (DoD) security policies and procedures, and recommends/negotiates changes on behalf of the Directorate.
• Synchronize technology and program protection(s) efforts in the Defense Industrial Security Program and apply multiple security disciplines in the business/industrial environment.
• Serve as alternate Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) specialist for Army Futures Command (AFC).
• Provide security support for Headquarters, AFC in all matters pertaining to information security (INFOSEC) coordination with other command security personnel.
• Identify and ensure that all appropriate technology and program protection requirements are incorporated into acquisition and contract documents, and verify implementation at all industrial facilities.
• Execute policy requiring the Research and Development (R and D) community to complete assessments of early research to identify developing innovative and potentially critical technology.
• Maintain close liaison with counterparts in other government agencies to ensure coordination and integrity of methodologies and approaches to AFC’s security and protection actions and production.
• Serve as Technology Protection Cell member, orchestrate and synchronize AFC, DoD, Intelligence Community (IC) and non-traditional partners to coordinate the protection of technologies identified in the Critical Technologies Protection List.
• Work with agency and DoD executive agents for horizontal protection, anti-tamper, and Technology Protection Tasks Force to blend multifaceted approaches to protection into a cohesive, executable requirement .
• Serve as an Research Technology Protection (RTP) representative on multiple government boards and working groups to include DoD’s Technology Protection Security Working Group (TPSWG).

CACI is seeking a Cyber Security professional with experience fulfilling customer requirements for system security posture assessment, authorization process execution, and continuous monitoring to work as part of a team supporting CACI products. The successful candidate will work with CACI team members to assess information security controls on new and existing systems, work with system owners to resolve/mitigate information security findings, and help maintain security posture of systems/networks.

Conduct Risk Management Framework (RMF) tasks for obtaining Authorization to Operate (ATO) for CACI systems/networks.

More About this Role:

• Collaborate with system integrators and administrators to harden information systems to the required acceptable level
• Provide full Assessment & Authorization (A&A) support and technical security guidance in all phases of the system authorization process and/or Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Conduct security review of information security plans for networks and information systems
• Conduct the research to identify security vulnerabilities and provide guidance to mitigate risks to information systems.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:  

Education and Clearance:  

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology and/or information systems related discipline desired (will consider experience in lieu of degree) and 3 or more years of experience
• Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance to start

Experience:

• Strong background in Information Technology processes and/or systems administration
• 3+ years recent experience generating and implementing System Security Accreditation/ICD 503 packages for DoD and/or IC Customers
• 3+ years recent experience establishing security processes, practices and principles for TOP SECRET communication network connected systems
• 3+ years recent experience with NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and FISMA requirements

Required Skills:

• RMF Working knowledge
• Windows and Linux working knowledge
• Understanding of networking concepts
• 8570.01/8140.03 Compliant: Security+ or equivalent
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team

The Job/What You'll Do:

As the Director of Information Security at Voyant, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining the security landscape of our organization. Your expertise will be pivotal in developing internal processes, procedures, and policies related to all things security, with a focus on cybersecurity. This position is not one of formally directing employees, but rather directing all of security programs for the organization. The Director of Information Security reports directly to the CTO and is the point person at Voyant for all things security in its internal operations and in its SaaS products.

Responsibilities:

• In concert with the Director of Compliance, manage formal IT audits, including SOC II, and internal IT audits.  (The ideal candidate will work toward developing automated solutions to ease the manual work involved in these audits.)
• Evaluate Voyant’s current security posture and identify vulnerabilities and threats to Voyant’s information assets, as well as Voyant’s SaaS offerings.
• Develop and maintain company-wide information security policies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, reviewing all IT and Security policies on an annual basis, and developing new policies and procedures as needed.
• Coordinate with Voyant’s MSP for Intrusion Detection and Vulnerability Management.  Investigating MSP alerts, monitor MSP products, and review monthly reports.
• Monitor the external threat environment for emerging threats and advise relevant stakeholders on the appropriate courses of action.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of incident response plans and procedures to ensure that business-critical services are recovered in the event of a security event.
• Plan and organize the execution of network, and application penetration testing, with the possibility of also inaugurating red/blue team exercises.
• Review the results of application penetration tests.
• Organize periodic threat modelling sessions with application and operations teams.
• Develop and maintain security awareness training for employees.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
• Ensure that security is embedded in the project delivery process by providing appropriate information security policies, practices, and guidelines.
• Respond to customer and potential customer inquiries related to security.
• Contribute to periodic risk assessments to identify and remediate security gaps.
• Work closely with Voyant's IT and DevOps teams to implement various initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• In-depth Knowledge of SOC II compliance.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
• Familiarity with AWS services, specifically: WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Shield, ALB, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education & Experience:

• Experience in information security, cybersecurity, and IT audit management.
• IT and System Administration experience.
• Experience with Office.com Security and Compliance management
• Experience with automation tools and methodologies to streamline security processes.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are a plus.
