The Marion VA Health Care System is actively recruiting a full-time Registered Nurse, Informatics Service Program Manager within Informatics Service located in Marion, IL. This position reports directly to the Associate Director of Patient Care Services (ADPCS) and is responsible for the Informatic Service across the Marion VA Health Care System.
The incumbent is the designated first-line supervisory authority and is responsible and accountable for the operations of the Informatic Service.
The incumbent exercises leadership in the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and sustainment of hardware and software applications integrated with the electronic health record (EHR) and associated programs/applications.
The incumbent collaborates with the Chief Health Informatics Officer and with interdisciplinary team members, including other program and service leaders at the facility and network. They work closely to establish and maintain effective relationships with all levels of Veteran Affairs (VA) staff nationwide.
The incumbent is responsible for the documented outcomes at the program or service level. Program or service level outcomes must be broad and complex and can be demonstrated at any organizational level within a facility, Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN), or Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO), illustrating performance and leadership that benefit the facility.
PLEASE NOTE: These positions require Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. If selected, Applicants will provide proof of current certifications prior to employment. Only BLS certification which included Automated External Defibrillator (AED) obtained from either the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Military Treatment Training Network (MTN) will be accepted.
