The Technical Services Manager (TSM) will be responsible for delivering the hard services, PPM and reactive maintenance in a safe and secure manner in line with the contract requirements. With a team of engineers and subcontract resources, you will maintain, repair and replace items including mechanical, electrical and public health services along with the building fabric. You must lead the team and identify strengths and weakness in order to utilise their skills in the most effective way. The safety of the team must be the priority. Work must be planned so that it does not affect the client business activities.

You must act as the key technical resource for the site and engage with other experts where necessary to provide solutions and answers to problems and incidents which arise and in order to expand your knowledge in order to improve the service.

Working with colleagues and other subject matter experts, you will be required to maintain compliance with statutory legal and contractual obligations on your site(s). This includes steam, pressure systems, lifts and lifting equipment, asbestos registers, water and fire services.

Customer engagement is key to this role so you must build strong relationships with the key site stakeholders and the client team. From this, you should be able to identify additional client requirements and propose solutions to these requirements to the client.

What you'll do:

• Provide excellent customer service to our corporate colleagues, clients and customers
• Assist in daily food preparation tasks, serving up our mouth watering menus
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of food service areas, including the dining area and kitchen facilities
• Be a team player, collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures

What you'll bring:

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but not essential
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Ability to work effectively and a willingness to assist in various tasks needed

Responsibilities:

This is a key role in delivering housing services, managing a multi-tenure patch to the standards set out in the tenancy agreement or lease while working collaboratively with other agencies on case management.

• Co-ordinate the delivery of Council services to residents.
• To advocate on behalf of residents.
• To enforce standards set out in the tenancy, lease or other authority to occupy.
• Work across agencies and partnerships in a way that brings about strategic change and addresses the corporate aims of the council and objectives of the department.
• Manage complex relationships on behalf of the Council to secure the implementation of government objectives, council priorities and local priorities.
• Case management approach to resolve issues for residents

What we are looking for:

• Strong customer service skills
• A proactive, problem solving attitude and attention to detail
• Knowledge of council housing policies and procedures is desirable, but not essential
