We have a great opportunity for a Night Shift Construction Manager working with a fit out contractor in Central London on a project due to run for circa 9-10 months.

The Projects are valued circa £500K-£3M and tend to be fit out projects. You will be responsible for managing the site and will have to be quite an expert in logistics and they will include some external works also.

You will be reporting to the Project Manager daily. Whilst managing the site, you must also be maintaining a high standard of health & safety while ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.

The project is working in a live environment throughout the day thus the need for a night manager to come in and push the programme at night, it is essential that the manager is a programme pusher. The project will involve, Alterations, Welding, Hot works meaning H&S is an absolute must.

The ideal Site Manager must have:

• Have CAT A / B Fit Out experience
• Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry
• Have experience in delivering commercial fit outs
• Major experience in M+E
• Experience and understanding of the floor plate of the building
• Understanding of programmes and ability to handle minutes efficiently
• Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Site Manager on commercial projects
• Interpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the team
• SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certs

• Effective line management of one of the administrative teams. You will lead, manage, motivate, engage and support the team to deliver a customer focused service.

The surveyor is responsible for managing assets within the Council's operational property portfolio and the voluntary and community sector portfolio.
This includes developing a comprehensive strategy which maximises the use and value of the Council's assets in line with corporate and political priorities.
The postholder will be required to develop positive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including members, local landowners and more.

What you'll need to succeed
Substantial experience in a similar sized complex public sector organisation working within an asset management function.
Experience and knowledge of the property lifecycle, strategic asset management, financial analysis and risk management.
The ability to develop strategies, policies and procedures, aligning them with service and corporate priorities.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and to effectively manage key stakeholders.
A proactive and organised approach to managing tasks and priorities.
Ability to work well under pressure.
The ability to work autonomously to meet the objectives of the organisation.
Membership of a relevant professional body or association (e.g., Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is advantageous.
