Job Summary

What Are Your Responsibilities?

This position is responsible for actively participating in an internship program that leverages your skills, knowledge, and capabilities while exposing you to different methodologies and tools. Working closely with cross-functional teams in both our business and technical areas the Associate IT Process Design & Government Analyst Intern may be responsible for conducting process open mic and jam sessions, assisting with process central operations, creating process documentation, contributing to process knowledge base, and evaluating metrics and continuous improvement ideas/options across all channels from CoE's. Additional project support, administrative tasks, and ad hoc requests to support business needs.

• Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies. 
• Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
• Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas of assigned.
• responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.
• Create a final internship PowerPoint presentation to share with department leadership covering the internship experience, the assigned project over the course of the summer, including the results along with any solutions or recommendations that can be leveraged by the department in the future.

• Ability to assist with process inventory management and audit support.

What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?

• Pursing a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field
• Graduation date between December 2024 – June 2025
• A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
• Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. (Currently, we are not offering this position with a student visa including F1, OPT, CPT or H1B and are not accepting or sponsoring student work visas for this role)

This role combines the Design Quality Assurance and the Product Center Manager role. In your role as Design Quality Assurance Expert (m/f/d) you will be working as a part of product development team on new product development or on design changes to ensure product quality and reliability, minimize risk to users and patients. In addition, the Product Center Manager's responsibilities are added to this position, which includes post-market surveillance tasks and ensuring regulatory compliance. This ensures that the entire life cycle of the product can be managed and controlled.

Your assignments

Design Control

• Ensure that all design control deliverables comply with applicable regulatory requirements and design control processes
• Guide engineering and other teams and ensure that design control requirements are being met in an effective manner to achieve quality by design, including those for design verification, validation, specification and procedure development, risk management, and design review
• Provide input to design and manufacturing engineering project DHF deliverables including material specifications, drawings, inspection procedures, and manufacturing procedures, to ensure that the resulting products can be adequately manufactured and tested. Review DHF files for accuracy and completeness and provide guidance on FDA compliance and procedures
• Work independently on high visibility new product development projects; including projects involving multiple technologies and design sites
• Create processes and process improvements to ensure consistent implementation of internal requirements and external regulations and standards

Product Conformity

• Main contact for medical devices marked with the CE-mark with a focus on non-active medical devices for Peritoneal Dialysis
• Ensure that Technical Files are complete and up to date and that essential requirements are met

Post Market Surveillance

• Analyze PMS data and if needed initiate required activities

NC/CAPA

• Acts as a Quality Approver for design control related topics and as a Quality Assignee for system related topics

Your profile

• Bachelor or master’s degree in engineering or a similar technical field required, such as medical technology or a technical apprenticeship with further training to be a technician, along with relevant professional experience
• Several years related experience or an advanced degree without experience
• Advanced knowledge of Design Control and Risk Management standards (e.g, ISO13485, IEC 60601 and ISO 14971)
• Advanced knowledge of medical device regulations (e.g. MDR 745/2017, 21CFR820.30, NMPA-Regulation)
• Experience with product or design and development or quality engineering of sterile disposables utilizing various plastic processes such as injection molding and extruding
• Deep understanding of Design Controls and solid engineering expertise that enables them to guide engineering teams
• Experienced with development of design input and traceability through verification and validation V&V activities
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, high engagement on achieving targets and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Willingness to travel national and international
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German

GlobalFoundries RF/mm-Wave Reference Design Team is looking for a motivated Electrical Engineering student to join our team for summer 2024. We will work together to solve challenging RF/mm-Wave circuit problems. 

Essential Responsibilities include:

• Design and tape-out mm-Wave reference circuits on internal test chips and MPWs.
• Use industry-standard design tools to perform schematic design, physical layout, parasitic extractions, pre- and post-layout simulations, and Elector-Magnetic (EM) simulations.
• Perform circuit optimizations to meet performance requirement.
• Collaborate with design leads on multiple concurrent projects.  

Other Responsibilities:

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

• Education - MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline. 
• Must have transistor level circuit design understanding.

Title:

KBR is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to support our Xevas contract for KBR’s Science and Space division. 

The Senior Design Engineer will be part of the team that supports the Space Suit Division at KBR. The candidate will work on a collaborative team developing, building and maintaining Space Suits and supporting equipment for low Earth orbit and beyond. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, test, handle implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems using applied engineering principles, including solid and fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
• Perform engineering design evaluations.
• Perform dimensional tolerance analysis and functional analyses.
• Procure, assemble, and test advanced prototypes to inform design decisions, refinements, and to demonstrate performance.
