The Internal Audit team at Freshworks is an advisor to the business performing risks and controls assessment, providing recommendations in bringing efficiencies and enhancing processes and bringing overall value to the organization as it grows. Core Responsibilities

• Perform planning and scoping activities using a risk based approach to identify areas of focus for SOX and internal audit
• Assist in developing the annual SOX and internal audit plan
• Prepare and update controls framework applicable to US SOX under COSO framework and to India under the Companies Act
• Partner with the business team to understand processes, identify risks, map controls and identify gaps and propose recommendations for remediation. Stay up to date with changes in business and assess impact to controls framework.

Scope of assignment

Under our Accountant’s observation and support:

Job Description

• Assisting the delivery and reporting of the results of operational internal audits in areas including finance processes, operational processes, and compliance reviews.
• Proactively following up the implementation of agreed actions and ongoing improvement of the control environment under the direction and regular supervision of line manager.
• Maintain and update the Risk Management Guide and the corporate risk register, with input from local risk registers.
