At RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire, Serco has been providing multi-activity and engineering support since 1997. Serco proudly support the RAF and MoD, supplying around 20 different services onsite, from engine and aircraft maintenance, to fuelling and ground control services. RAF Brize Norton is the largest operating base within the Royal Air Force, providing air transport and air-to-air refuelling to the RAF fleet.
We have some exciting opportunities to join our Logistics Team at RAF Brize Norton. You’ll contribute enormously to the vital work carried out here. As part of the Serco Logistics team, you will help to provide support to ensure vital services for the Royal Air Force’s output at RAF Brize Norton. Main accountabilities:
- Delivery of excellent customer service
- Frequent use of IT systems to manage emails and stock control
- Storekeeping and day to day management of stock
- Issuing & receipt of goods
What you'll need to do the role:
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be able to achieve SC Security Clearance
- Experience in a Supply Chain or Logistics environment would be an advantage however, training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Must be a team player with a focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Be computer proficient and able to use the inhouse IT systems.
- A counterbalance forklift licence would be desirable for some of our roles but training can be provided.
