DUTY 1:
Perform career broadening assignments working with senior analyst in planning, organizing, and directing logistics programming support for identified systems/programs. This includes the development, review, validation, and substantiation of current and long-range logistics requirements to support worldwide mission objectives. Develops, coordinates, and issues comprehensive guidance and procedures to be used by subordinate commands and field activities in the execution of budget/buy/modification/maintenance support for these systems/programs. Plans and conducts studies, and develops input for logistics policies and procedural systems applied throughout the MAJCOM. Develops logistics guidance and criteria for timely and cost effective life cycle support and implementation. Studies operational procedures and work methods involving interface with logistics support related to maintenance, distribution, and other technical requirement. Provides advisory assistance and interface with other activities. Develops and reviews metrics to accurately monitor the health of support equipment programs. Performs predictive analysis of capability impacts under varying funding levels.

DUTY 2:
Serves as a team member performing career broadening assignments involved in programming, prioritizing and defending key logistics programs in support of the warfighting objectives of the Air Force. Prepares, executes, and manages one or more programs for AMC sustainment. Develops and justify budget estimates and reviews procedures and techniques to be used in the buy/budget program proposals and evaluations. Evaluates OSD and agency logistics guidelines and instructions to determine necessary changes in requirements computations, logistics planning, etc. Issues initial and revised procurement authorizations covering the fending elves managed. Participates in the analysis of the progress and status of directed programs. Initiates reprogramming actions when necessary. Analyzes and assesses operating logistics programs in order to correlate resource requirements to achieve plans and objectives. Conducts/directs investigations and studies to respond to Congress, GAO, AF Inspector General, or other agencies.

DUTY 3:
Carries out special projects and assignments designed specifically to meet the broadening intent of the position. Represents the concerns of the organization at meetings and conferences preparing staff studies and various documents to meet special needs. Develops and presents oral presentations; leading and/or serving on steering committees or completing a project aimed at improving organizational effectiveness. • Serves as the senior Logistics Coordinator for the Defense Security Cooperation Service (DSCS) supporting all supply and logistics requirements for all global Security Cooperation Organization (SCO offices.)
• Employs broad understanding of the interrelation and integration among the principle logistics functions of supply, maintenance, transportation and distribution, aviation, fleet management, logistics services, and facilities management throughout the material life cycle in support of more than 140 SCO office supporting all Geographic Combatant Commands.

Salary Information: The salary range for Arlington, VA (DCA - Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport) is $51,099 to $63,004 or $24.48 to $30.19 per hour and includes locality pay of 33.26%.

This Transportation Security Officer position is located in Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Transportation Security Officer (TSOs) within Security Operations (SO), you will provide security and protection of air travelers, airports and aircraft in a courteous and professional manner. Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Operating various screening equipment and technology to identify dangerous objects in baggage, cargo and on passengers, and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft.

YOUR TALENT
