The incumbent of this position will serve as the Army's leading authority on the development and utilization of intelligent technologies for current and future mobility systems; this position is within the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Army Research Laboratory (DEVCOM ARL), Intramural Research Directorate (IRD). Advises senior leaders, managers, and technologists on strategic research efforts, and will conduct unique independent investigations that lead and advance the state-of-the- art in intelligence systems. Provide Laboratory-wide and Command-wide benchmarks for scientific quality in intelligent systems research, providing cost- saving and time- saving advice to managers regarding decisions to initiate, continue, and/or terminate research efforts based on his/her technical expertise.

The Research Fellow will bring their research skills, experience and knowledge to support the aims of AHDRC, of growing the research capacity and culture within Aberdeen City Council. Working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, the role will carry out research and evaluation related activity with ACC Officers to support this aim.

This post is a part of the NIHR Aberdeen Health Determinants Research Collaboration (AHDRC). The NIHR Aberdeen Health Determinants Research Collaboration is funded initially for 5 years by the National Institute for Health and Care Research, with the aim of supporting Aberdeen City Council to develop a research active culture to help improve the health and well-being for Aberdeen’s communities. Lead by Aberdeen City Council, the AHDRC’s key partners are the University of Aberdeen, NHS Grampian, Robert Gordon University. This post will receive academic support and supervision from the University of Aberdeens’s Health Economics Research Unit and the Health Services Research Unit, and be part of a wider interdisciplinary team who will drive forward the AHDRC’s aims. The NIHR Aberdeen Health Determinants Research Collaboration is funded initially for 5 years by the National Institute for Health and Care Research, with the aim of supporting Aberdeen City Council to develop a research active culture to help improve the health and well-being for Aberdeen’s communities. Job Description

A vacancy has arisen in our Planning Information and Delivery Team for an Information and Research Officer.

The post offers a variety of information and research work in support of colleagues in Planning and Economy and other Council Services, dealing with a wide range of challenging issues for the Council and its partners.

You will contribute to maintaining a corporate information and research capability based within Planning and Economy.

You should have a relevant degree, research and data analysis skills, a high level of computer literacy and the ability to manage complex databases, evaluate information and prepare reports. Customer service is an important aspect of the team’s work.

Relevant experience in the public sector, private sector, or academia would be advantageous, as would be knowledge and experience of data sets relating to the labour market and specific sectors of the economy.

Job Description

An opportunity has arisen in our Performance Management Unit in the Education and Children's Service for a skilled and motivated data analyst and Research Officer.

The post offers a variety of information and research work in support of colleagues in Education and Children's Services dealing with a wide range of internal and external performance management requirements and requests.

The post holder will work as part of the team to support the Service Performance Management Framework responding to data analysis requirements. The post holder will be integral to the Scottish Government data collections, including the annual census returns.

You should have a relevant degree, research and data analysis skills, a high level of computer literacy and the ability to manage complex databases, evaluate information and prepare reports using various tools including Power BI. Relevant experience in the public sector, private sector, or academia would be advantageous, as would be knowledge and experience of data sets relating to Scottish Government data collections.

You Have:

• 2+ years of experience with the DoD Program Executive Office (PEO) 

• Experience with preparing and updating cost estimates using ACEIT 

• Experience with using Microsoft Office, including Excel

• Ability to lead the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving program requirements, including assigning tasks effectively
