The Firearms Specialist provides a Dress Blue Experience and executes departmental procedures and follows all firearms regulations. Reports to the Department Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Operations Manager or Store Manager.

Focuses on delivering a best-in-class customer experience and driving strong customer engagement with the firearms department.  Focuses on solution-based selling, offering applicable accessories and services to the customer in addition to the firearm.  Required to strictly adhere to all governing bodies¿ processes/requirements including but not limited to: ATF, FFL, DOD, Marine Corps, State, Corporate and local command for selling, handling, receiving, transferring, inventory management, and records management for all weapons and ammunitions.

Follows the special-order process according to standard processes. Supports advertisement and promotional set up requirements including, merchandising, signing, pricing and other tasks as needed. 

Must be flexible to support the operations of the building/command they work in.   Will actively engage with Sales Managers on all departmental operations including ensuring RIMA (Retail Inventory Management Application) scans are completed and follow through is executed to include inventory adjustments when necessary. The Sales Associate is responsible for providing all Marine Corps Exchange (MCX) customers with world class customer service with an additional emphasis on courtesy. Sales associates are the primary service providers and will assist customers in every aspect of the retail business in a friendly, professional, and proactive manner that supports continued customer loyalty. Sales associates assist their customers in challenging scenarios by using an "I can do that" mindset, to make all attempts for a positive customer experience and outcomes, before asking for support from the next level mentor or supervisor. Sales associates are brand and customer program ambassadors for all Marine Corps and MCX programs, including but not limited to, Military Star, Super Star Student, customer satisfaction surveys and Keep it New.

This position can be scheduled throughout the facility, based on the needs of the business including but not limited to, cashier or self-checkout attendant, customer service, salesfloor / department support, stockroom / backroom, and military clothing.  In addition to working indoors, associates may be required to work outdoors or inside coolers and/or chillers. Limited time durations and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided when working inside coolers and/or chillers. About the Opportuity:
The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) – Magnetic Resonance is responsible for all sales actives in his/her territory for the Magnetic Resonance portfolio and is charged with the responsibility of meeting or exceeding all assigned Oxford Instruments (OI) Sales Targets. The TSM will serve as the primary point of contact for existing and potential new customers as well for Oxford Instruments distributors (where appropriate) throughout the sales process. This individual will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to build territory action plans which will provide a clear path to sales success as well as partner with Service, Marketing, Applications, and numerous other Oxford Business Unit sales reps in this pursuit.

In addition, the TSM is required to properly manage CRM ensuring all required fields are completed, the information is current and up to date, and sales funnel information (such as close dates and dollars) is accurate. Additionally, the TSM will travel as needed, both within and outside of the assigned territory
- including internationally, to attend various meetings, trainings, tradeshows, and conventions. Territory includes all states west of the Mississippi River.

About the Candidate:
The right candidate for this position will have Bachelors in the Materials Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, or other relevant area preferred; 3-5 years Sales experience in the scientific space, In depth experience of relevant technologies, customers, and markets; Ability to travel approximately 75% time, including occasional international travel; and NMR experience is strongly preferred.
