As the Deputy DIPC and Lead IPC Nurse, you will play a crucial role in leading our Infection Prevention Control initiatives and ensuring the highest standards of infection prevention across our Sites. You will support the DIPC in providing strategic direction and driving continuous improvement in IPC practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership and Management: Inspire and lead the IPC team, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation in infection prevention.
• Policy and Strategy Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of IPC policies and strategies, ensuring compliance with national and local standards.

As a Stock Control Supervisor you will identify causes that affect on shelf availability and by working with your peers put measures in place to ensure our valued customers can purchase the products that they need when they need them. You will also have a large role to play in maximising the profitability of the store by understanding and then taking action on issues that cause stock loss.

Managing the store\\'s product promotions is another key part to the role and you will be responsible for pricing accuracy so having a structured way of working is key to helping the store achieve legal compliance.

You will be responsible for stocking the product range that our customers require and make sure they are available on shelf with the correct prices. You will be the Champion of product availability.

To be successful in this role your skills and experience will include:

An excellent communicator and have some experience in supervising or managing a team.

Practical experience in the retail trade

Experience of Sales Based Ordering would be advantageous

Lead the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community. Lead the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity. Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge / skill, and expertise. Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient. Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care. Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience. To be a core member of the Hospital IPC committee (HIPCC). To develop in partnership with the senior person responsible for IPC and with approval of the HIPCC, an annual program, that is aligned to the HCAI code (DH 2010) (plus for Scottish and Welsh hospitals: NHS Scotland Code of Practice and National HCAI strategy for hospitals in Wales) and reflects specific objectives of Circle Health Group National Infection Prevention and Control annual program.

Validate all 4hr plus breaches for BNHH and RHCH daily and reporting this information to senior management within the Trust and the BI team. Instruct others to change working habits in line with the above, providing training and support where needed to improve knowledge and performance. Support the Operational Managers to ensure the trust achieves the targets recognising potential financial impacts. Analyse patterns and problems to deliver solutions to Operational Manager to influence new processes and better working practices. Answer all breach data and data cleansing queries in a timely manner. Create and liaise with a network of colleagues to find missing information that may not be recorded on systems that could have an impact on breach validation. Ensure confidentiality is always met. Liaise with all types of staff both clinical and non-clinical senior managers, clinicians, admin, and secretarial staff. To undertake other duties, as required, which are not necessarily specified on the job description, but which are commensurate with the grade of the post.
