Job Overview

You will develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships and drive compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Your role will be pivotal in professionalising our procurement processes and balancing strategic vision with operational excellence. This role sits with the Performance and Transformation portfolio and reports into Finance Director.

The ideal candidate will have a CIPS qualification and a proven track record in senior procurement roles. You should excel in negotiation, contract management and strategic sourcing. Your new roleRecruiting a highly skilled and experienced End-to-End Procurement Manager to join a regulator based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, with a particular emphasis on tendering and contract management. This role requires a deep understanding of the Procurement Act and public sector procurement legislation.

Duties include:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the tendering process, including the preparation of tender documents, evaluation of bids, and selection of suppliers.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act and other relevant public sector procurement legislation.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide expert advice on tendering and contract management.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring adherence to contract terms and conditions.
• Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.

What you'll need to succeed
