The Inventory Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting in monitoring and maintaining the pharmacy inventory.  Ensures pharmacy has sufficient supply of inventory to meet operational needs while maintaining targeted inventory levels.

Essential Job Functions (include the following):

The Inventory Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting in monitoring and maintaining the pharmacy inventory.  Ensures pharmacy has sufficient supply of inventory to meet operational needs while maintaining targeted inventory levels.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (include the following):

• Receive, process, unpack and check in orders on daily basis
• Place and organize inventory on shelves.  Ensure products are labeled.
• Perform daily cycle count activities and inventory audits
• Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels. Restock shelves from overstock daily. Remove outdated products from shelves for return. 
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with maintaining pharmacy system by updating NDCs in a timely manner
• Participate in quarterly physical inventory. 
• May assist in filling and packaging of prescriptions
• May assist with submitting all regular daily orders to ensure availability of products and smooth workflow in the pharmacy
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Education and/or Certifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration (per state requirements); National Certification preferred (PTCB)

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
• Inventory Management skills
• Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred/required
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines

As an IT Procurement Category Manager, supporting the Procurement Team, you will work with project teams in the identification, negotiation, evaluation, contracting, and supplier relationship management of suppliers in a high-quality, timely, and cost-effective manner.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Support project teams in the identification, negotiation, evaluation, contracting and supplier relationship management of suppliers in a high quality, timely and cost-effective manner.
• Support the business with contracting (negotiation and implementation of frame agreements, services agreements, confidentiality agreements and other agreements).
• Procurement category management with a focus in Information Technology (cloud services, professional services, infrastructure, hardware, software, etc.).
• Extensive knowledge of working with suppliers, third parties and external service providers, ideally in pharmaceutical and medical device industry.
• Indirect Operations (e.g., Office Supplies, Computers, Travel, Maintenance, Machine Parts, etc.)
• Procurement processes include: Product/Service Sourcing , Supplier Selection, Pricing/Terms Negotiation, Order Processing, Contract Administration Supplier Performance Management, May include Strategic Sourcing.
• Create full spend transparency (spend baselines, KPIs, and metrics).
• Ensure support to the project leaders and cross-functional teams in the selection and management of suppliers and service providers on a project-to-project basis and link these decisions with the overall global category strategies.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs.; Assoc. +9 yrs.; M.S. +2 yrs.; PhD+0 yrs.)

• 5 Years of Relevant Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Ariba; analytics experience, as well as experience utilizing spend analytics tools, a plus

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Associate Procurement Manager of Packaging will support most procurement activities of various packaging categories across the organization's business units in North America. This individual will also manage the supplier management process – identify, qualify, onboard, transact and collaborate with a high number of supplier and packaging categories.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain cost models to understand cost drivers and price transparency across all categories (maintain system pricing and maintain/close all open invoice variances)

• Perform analytical activities that support the direction of the category and drives optimization across the portfolio

• Develop different award optimization scenarios to minimize total cost of ownership and conduct post-implementation variance analysis

• Review contracts ensuring compliance around pricing, payment terms, volume commitments, rebates

• Provide problem solving solutions (short term and long term) for service related issues as needed

• Execute and assist new item set-ups within SAP as required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics or Finance

• 3+ years of procurement and / or related supply chain experience, ideally Analytics or Buyer experience (category does not matter but packaging preferred)

• 2+ years of leading projects - including excellent planning, time management, decision making and organizational skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills, decision making/problem solving and influencing

• Mathematical and reasoning skills required for proper analysis of bids, inclusive of differential pricing analysis and total cost of ownership

• Strong analytical skills

• Proficient use with Microsoft Office

• Ability to work cross functionally with teams to balance solutions in accordance with budget, schedule and tools

• Professional and effective facilitation skills - should be able to facilitate group discussions

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment – should be able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines

SALARY & BENEFITS:

The current pay range for this position is $80,000 to $115,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon, but may not be limited to, the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and applicable laws. For 2023, this position is eligible for a bonus target of 10% in accordance with the bonus plan.
