Communication and Engagement Assistant – Fulltime, Term-time only, Permanent. An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the communication and engagement activities of Franklin Sixth Form College. We are seeking to appoint a Communication and Engagement Assistant to our Marketing and Schools Liaison Department. We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to apply who are committed to the positive future of young people, and keen to inspire and support this journey through the delivery of in-person and digital engagement. This post will play a key role in delivering engagement activities and driving forward our communication and recruitment work. The Communication and Engagement Assistant will work with the team to capture content and manage our social media channels, also deliver a friendly, enthusiastic, and engaging approach at a range of promotional events both, internally and externally. Individuals can expect to work with school students, college students and families, in-school settings such as, workshops, careers fairs and assemblies. The nature of the work is varied and it’s key that individuals applying are confident, creative and able to adapt their approach. The role is a very outward facing role, as such, we are looking for confident and friendly individuals to apply who are committed to representing the strong reputation and culture of Franklin Sixth Form College to our key audiences. You will be part of a fast-paced team of committed individuals who have a joined-up approach and passion for working with and supporting young people on their journey to their dream future. The role will work closely with other members of the team, to deliver activities and maintain our digital presence, engaging with audiences in the most positive and fulfilling way. We invite individuals with a passion for working with young people, customer service and marketing and communication to come forward, these areas are essential for this role. We are looking for a flexible and committed individual to join the team who is able to work independently, but also as a member of a fast-paced team. The salary range for this role is in line with the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine Point 5-7 which is £20,584- £21,394 full time equivalent. As this role is term time only the actual salary is £17,527.28 to £18,216.99 per annum.
