The successful candidate will have previous electrical experience backed up by recognised industry qualifications and be able to demonstrable experience gained in previous career roles. You will have knowledge of health and safety practices as well as knowledge and professional skills associated with latest edition of IEE Wiring Regulations.

Good communication skills, both verbal and written to communicate with internal customers, external contractors and consultants, and to provide written electrical reports are essential as is the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

The post is based at our vibrant Cardonald campus, but flexibility is required as cross campus working will be expected to ensure consistency across campus and to attend to electrical emergencies. A valid UK driving licence is required.

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join Exciting Processing Plant in the St Austell area.

With no day ever being the same the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Reactive and planned maintenance of all production/processing related equipment
• Be able to review technical drawings
• Both Electrical and Mechanical Fault Finding
• Responding to Breakdowns in a Timely Manner
• Be able to work as part of a engineering team
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams and external Contractors
• Open to working a mix of day/evening/night shift

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Level 3 Apprenticeship Trained or Equivalent
• Sound understanding of electrical/mechanical maintenance including fixed plant
• HNC in Engineering or relevant discipline
• Experience (5 years) working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Good engineering background and ability to work on large scale plant and equipment
