The rate of pay is £11.44 per hour.

This is a full-time role working day and night shifts on a rotational basis.

Your Time at Work
As an Area Security Officer at G4S, you will be travelling to different sites/locations ensuring the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. Other elements of the role will include:

- Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
- Conducting searches when required
- Gatehouse duties
- Patrolling of the premises - both inside and outside
- Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms

Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key.

You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends.

It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence, however it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.

The successful candidate will have experience in security or a related customer service-based area and will understand that our students, staff and guests are at the forefront of all that we do. Experience in the use of and monitoring access control/CCTV systems/fire alarm systems would also be an advantage as would a current SIA DS license.

Applicants will be able to demonstrate their customer focused skills, combined with effective written and verbal communication skills. They must be able to maintain the highest personal professional standards representing the front facing service of the University and to demonstrate the ability to deal with difficult and occasional stressful circumstances, to provide a clean, safe and secure environment for all students, staff and guests of the University. The ability to assess situations and respond efficiently, coherently and effectively is an essential requirement for this role. Job Title: Legal Secretary

Location: Tunbridge Wells (Close to Public Transport)

Salary: £25,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:15AM - 5:30PM (with 1.5hrs break)

I am seeking a motivated Legal Secretary to join my clients Probate Department. If you have experience with probate and wills, this is a fantastic opportunity to further your career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide secretarial support to solicitors and legal executives.
• Ensure smooth document flow within the department.
• Type legal documentation from handwritten notes or digital dictation.
• Manage file organisation, including opening, closing, and filling documents.
• Handle scanning, emailing, faxing, and photocopying, including preparing trial bundles.
• Answer phone calls, manage new enquiries, and take messages.
• Organise internal and external meetings for fee earners.
• Support other secretaries across the firm as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent IT skills, particularly Word (Powerpoint and Excel are a plus).
• Strong telephone communication skills.
• Interest in legal matters with an understanding of confidentiality.
• Well-organised with a careful and conscientious approach.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and the ability to work under pressure.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Training as a Legal Secretary or relevant qualifications preferred.

The rate of pay is 11.44 per hour.

This is a full-time role working day and night shifts on a rotational basis.

Your Time at Work

As an Area Security Officer at G4S, you will be travelling to different sites/locations ensuring the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. Other elements of the role will include:

- Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
- Conducting searches when required
- Gatehouse duties
- Patrolling of the premises - both inside and outside
- Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key.

You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends.

It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence, however it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training.
