The performance and admin manager role is to support the in-patient leadership team to meet key performance targets through the organizations performance framework. You will also provide management and leadership to the in-patient administrative teams. This includes the ward clerks and team administrators. You will be a key part of the ward leadership teams and also work closely with the wider in-patient pathway, including the performance and administrative manager at the Warneford and Littlemore. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To ensure the Matron, Consultant and ward clinicians are provided with comprehensive, efficient, and effective secretarial and administrative support. To ensure the Team databases/electronic files, performance systems are accurate and up to date together with data inputting as necessary. Arrange meetings and room bookings as requested. To provide administrative and minute taking support to the matron, consultant and other clinicians in ward meetings and external meetings taking place on the ward. To support the matron in monitoring training and performance management for staff. To support the Matron in achieving Trust targets on data quality by reviewing reports and monitoring the timely entry and quality of data input. To undertake weekly environmental walk arounds of the ward and make sure this is data is recorded and passed onto the relevant department. To support the Matron in health and safety and infection control audits and making sure these are undertaken and recorded. To support the Office Manager in collecting and chasing recruitment paperwork for clinical and non-clinical posts. To be involved in interviews process when needed, as requested by the matron and clinical nurse leads. Management of the consultant on-call rota. Monitoring and making sure all shifts are covered. The post holder will provide an experienced psychological service to people with learning disabilities who have forensic needs and/or have accessed care via a secure pathway as part of the Forensic Community Learning Disability Team (FCLDT) covering Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire (BOB). The FCLDT, which sits within the forensic services Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT), supports the reduction of hospital use and seeks to improve the quality of life, health and well-being of service users with a diagnosis of learning disability who are at risk of being admitted to secure services or are being discharged to the community from secure settings. The post holder, will be an experienced clinical/counselling/forensic psychologist holding doctoral level professional qualifications, who will ensure the clinical leadership and systematic provision of this highly specialist multilevel service specialising in working with individuals with a learning disability and a forensic need, that is cost-effective, culturally appropriate and based on best clinical and professional practice and that meets Trust and Directorate objectives, national strategic, and policy guidelines, commissioner requirements and user and carer needs and expectations. To thereby help understand, prevent and ameliorate psychological distress and disorder, work towards risk reduction and risk management, and improve the quality of life, mental health and well-being of users of this service. The core element of the post is to provide case identification, case consultation, case formulation, joint working, and workforce development. The post holder will also have additional responsibility for: Leading the strategic thinking about services delivered to individuals with a Learning Disability with a forensic need in the community in the BOB area, notably identifying need, promoting inter-agency working to support this cohort, collating information about services (and pathways within services) available. Link to the FIND (Forensic Intellectual and Neurodevelopmental) Service, Forensic Community Mental Health team, secure establishments, and the Criminal Justice agencies to enable early intervention and support in preventing revictimization within systems. Develop the pathway for the eligibility process of the service and lead on developing pathway interventions that meets the needs of this cohort. Support the wider strategic development for this cohort.

To develop and provide a high standard of assessment and treatment for patients referred to the service. To take responsibility for an agreed clinical caseload, involving care co-ordination as appropriate. To collaboratively assess and provide needs-based treatment programmes and discharge plans for patients which compliment the overall provision of service To develop and maintain relevant therapeutic activities as appropriate to the patient group served, including opportunities for cognitive, creative, education, work, leisure, interpersonal and life skills. Wherever possible to ensure these interventions are evidence based. To compile written reports as required and to generate and maintain accurate treatment records in each patients file, which are stored securely. In consultation with users, carers and clinical teams to plan and provide appropriate therapy services for patients referred, within defined resources and using evidence-based practice. To act as a role model and coach to staff within the service and across multidisciplinary teams, students, patients and carers to ensure best practice is maintained. To participate in and support research projects in the Trust and to develop individual research initiatives as appropriate. To encourage and support staff in the process of research. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a programme of individual and group psychosocial interventions and regularly evaluating the impact of interventions incorporating patient and carer feedback. This will require proactive engagement with patients/families and carers to build positive working alliances to support the provision of psychosocial intervention. Together with key nurses and in the context of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), assess psychosocial needs using a range of evidence-based approaches and including families and carers where indicatedand appropriate. In collaboration with the key nurse, communicate the outcome of assessments clearly, contributing to the team formulation. Work collaboratively with the individual and their key nurse to produce a plan of care, promoting the implementation of brief psychosocial interventions where indicated.
