Opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic, highly specialist and well motivated individuals to join the Women’s Health Physiotherapy service in an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner role. The post holders will have the opportunity to have a joint leadership role in both the Urogynaecology Service and the Complex Mesh Centre pathway at UCLH.
The post is part of the Musculoskeletal Therapy Services Team and is based across both the Physiotherapy Department and the Elizabeth Garret Anderson Wing at University College Hospital.
As part of MSK Outpatient Therapy team, the roles include providing and maintaining a highly specialised and advanced standard of Women’s Health Physiotherapy Service to patients and to lead, monitor and implement service development. You will also provide both clinical & organisational support to the MDT and the MSK Therapies Team, working within a supportive team in an acute hospital setting.
As leaders, you will take a leading role in the co-ordination, evaluation and delivery of the Women’s Health Physiotherapy Service. You will be expected to develop both yourself and the team’s clinical, managerial, audit and research skills in an environment that is committed to evidence-based practice.
You will have the clinical support of the Women’s Health Physiotherapy team, North West London Women’s Health network, Musculoskeletal leads and the managerial support of the Therapy Services Manager. The Women’s Health team also works closely with both the Obstetric and Urogynaecological Consultants and the London complex mesh centre in an MDT approach to all patient care.
As part of a wider MDT there are teaching and supervision opportunities along with future research and service expansion.
