Summary of Role:

The Director of Procurement and Supply Chain Finance will partner with Supply Chain Management to extract hidden competitive advantages in the company’s sourcing, procurement, logistics and distribution chain. This job will create structural transparency and accountability using KPIs. This role will represent the finance agenda in a variety of projects from transformational to tactical that are aimed at improving the financial outcomes of our worldwide operation. These can include maximizing revenue, minimizing cost, reducing inventory, reducing supplier pricing, etc. This position will be one of the leaders tasked with increasing the analytical capability and data driven decision making in procurement and supply chain.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Create and implement a clear strategic vision of how Finance can enable supply chain to optimize the business and organization. Build an organization of analysts to partner with the Operation to achieve financial commitments.

• Provide strategic business leadership with Executive Supply Chain Management on initiatives and sequencing to create a company competitive advantage in sourcing, production, logistics, distribution, and procurement cost and sourcing

• Be one of the organizations strongest change catalysts and set that pace within your team of analysts

• Develop multi-year cost and capacity target and glide paths in line with revenue and profitability targets through production and sourcing strategies

• Develop cash targets, inventory goals and BOM targets that tie back to P&L model financial goas.

• Lead the annual budgeting and strategic planning processes and the monthly forecasting process for the consolidated Supply Chain.

• Create predictable, sustainable and repeating finance processes. Drive continuous improvement in current processes

• Coordinate the development of annual Supply Chain cost savings initiatives to achieve goals including the monitors and reports the demonstrate monthly progress

• Ensure data driven financial analysis and diligence are part of every important decision made

• Ensure compliance with all corporate accounting, GAAP, IFRS and SOX

• Stay familiar with external, emerging supply chain and bring internally

About you: To be successful in this role, you require:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance Required

• MBA/ CPA/ CMA preferred 

• Operations Finance experience preferred

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Previous experience within BDX Finance preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong Financial systems and tools knowledge and utilization skills (HFM, SAP, JDE, BPC)

• Advanced proficiency in Excel as demonstrated by previous experience creating and manipulating complex spreadsheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.) required

• Previous ERP costing experience (SAP / JDE highly desirable) related to standard cost build-ups and work order variance analysis.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) required

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

• Demonstrated ability to use logic, reasoning, and critical thinking in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

Corporate Finance Analyst

The Corporate Finance Analyst will be responsible for providing support in several key areas of the Corporate Finance department, notably cash and financial forecasting, debt management, and departmental and executive reporting.  The Corporate Finance Analyst will also oversee key financial reporting activities for the company and understand key financial ratios, interpret ongoing reporting requirements, manage to prescribed covenants and legally binding financial restrictions, and submit required reporting to lenders and investors.  A successful candidate will embrace our collaborative culture and manage assigned Corporate Finance and/or Corporate Treasury projects from beginning to end.

The Corporate Finance Analyst will report to the Corporate Finance Manager.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the daily cash forecasting and reporting process and support longer term forecast modeling, including dashboards, working capital scenario modeling, forecast variance analysis, and monthly liquidity forecasting. 
• Ensure the company’s liquidity needs are met to support longer-term investments and acquisition plans, both domestically and abroad.
• Support the development and maintenance of effective reporting tools to capture departmental data points and accomplishments to report to executive management and other audiences within the company.
• Review various debt agreements to ensure compliance with covenants and reporting requirements, as well as prepare and submit said reporting requirements.
• Support timely renewal of maturing debt facilities and assist management with assessing and structuring key loan amendments.
• Support timely renewal of maturing real estate financing arrangements and assist management with coordination of due diligence and evaluation of financing options to support the company’s liquidity needs.
• Support relationships with banking partners and provide accurate, standardized, periodic submission of required financial reporting within documented timelines.
• Work closely with internal partners to ensure defined reporting timelines are met.
• Act as initial reviewer for all covenant and borrowing base calculations.
• Field initial compliance questions from lenders and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries related to audits.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all lenders as it relates to AML/KYC compliance.
• Conduct research and analyze business and industry trends to support corporate finance decisions.
• Maintain communication with Corporate Accounting, Technical Accounting, and Treasury teams to facilitate and ensure the company’s timely and effective month-end close.
• Support the analytical needs of the department and perform other tasks which may be assigned.

The Finance Analyst II owns and analyzes financial statements while working closely with the business and Finance leadership to ensure accuracy.  This position owns and distributes regular reporting to the business and Finance.  This role implements best practices, streamlines processes and enables efficient workflow to ensure timely reporting. • Partner with Finance leadership to ensure financial reports comply with IFRS

• Analyze financial data and maintain financial models to accurately project financial results

• Drive business process troubleshooting and enhancement initiatives (HFM, Oracle, Hyperion) where appropriate

• Own ad hoc projects or analysis to enhance financial performance and better understand business drivers

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance or related field required

• Knowledge of accounting principles, public company financial reporting & practices required

• Essential knowledge and experience in Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Enterprise preferred
