What you'll do:
As an Insurance Broker, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's business. You will be at the forefront of identifying new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique insurance needs, providing expert advice on suitable coverage options, preparing detailed proposals, negotiating favourable terms with insurers, managing client accounts for optimal satisfaction, ensuring regulatory compliance, working closely with underwriters for best coverage outcomes, maintaining accurate client records, staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, product developments, and sharing this knowledge within your network.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through direct sales and marketing activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and requirements.
- Provide clients with advice and guidance on insurance products and services, recommending appropriate coverage levels.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients, negotiating terms and conditions with insurers on their behalf.
- Manage and monitor client accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Work closely with insurance underwriters to secure the best terms and coverage for clients.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of client information and insurance policies.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and product developments, sharing knowledge with clients and colleagues.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in the insurance brokerage industry, focusing on direct insurance.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products/services, regulatory requirements, market trends.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal skills; ability to build/maintain strong relationships with clients/underwriters.
- Strong negotiation skills; ability to secure best terms/coverage for clients.
- Highly organised/detail-oriented; ability to manage multiple clients/policies simultaneously.
- Results-driven; track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
