Impact You'll Make:

• As a member of the broader Insurance Marketing Solutions (IMS) team, the Major Account Executive (MAE) is responsible for the prospecting and development of new and existing Life Insurance marketing relationships (i.e. carriers, agencies, Insurtech, platform providers, etc.).

This position will support the compliance function and state filings. This opportunity is a hybrid schedule; working 2-3 days in our office and the other days remote.

Key Accountabilities:

• Preparation and submission of rate, rule, and form filings countrywide

• Review and analyse state statutes, regulations, and rating bureau bulletins to determine impact and ensure adherence to filing and regulatory requirement.

• Responsible for the preparation of responses to DOI interrogatories

• Develop and maintain state approval charts, forms list, policy forms and rates.

• Work with other business units to write business rules in support of implementing new product and systemic updates related to forms, rates, and rules.

• Maintain manuals and documentation.

In addition to the above key responsibilities, may be required to undertake other compliance related duties from time to time as the Company may require.

Experience:

• At least two years of experience in P&C (Property & Casualty) Commercial lines regulatory and state filings.

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, business, finance, risk management, or related field (an equivalent combination of education and prior work experience may be substituted at management’s discretion).

• Rate, rule and form filing experience. WC Compliance subject matter expert preferred but not required.

• Knowledge and experience with SERFF.

Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer of C&W Services, the Strategic account finance leader will serve as a key business partner to the Senior Vice Presidents and Vice President, Client Services, to deliver valuable commercial insights across supporting a key strategic C&W Services client. This role will support approximately $350 million of revenue. It will provide the strategic finance framework for decision support, forecasting and the annual plan that will guide more profitable decision making. He or she will be responsible for managing several direct reports on a day-to-day basis.

• Oversee development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts for key accounts

The Sales Analyst’s primary accountability is to act as the designated field resource to support Sales Executives and the Client Management team in the 2-1,999 market. They are accountable for following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the RFP and New Business/Add Issue submission processes. A successful Sales Analyst must demonstrate strong product / business knowledge, collaboration / communication skills, project management and the ability to perform tasks using technology and systems utilized within Guardian (Outlook, Salesforce, CPS, Excel, Adobe, SharePoint, Access, etc.). The position must balance the needs of the clients with those of the business and respond to customer inquiries with the objective of selling new business, ensuring that client satisfaction, accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability are achieved. Additional major responsibilities include negotiations with Underwriters, effective collaboration with Sales Executives and other team members, and managing the requoting of proposals as needed to help generate sales.

You Will:

Perform duties associated with Inventory Management, RFP processing, and new business/add issue submissions. Position works closely with Sales Executives, Client Management, Rating, Underwriting, Onboarding, and Producers /Assistants to ensure that information required for releasing a competitive quote and submitting new business is received and processed accurately and in a timely manner. 

• Manage RFP Inventory and Quote Process including:
  • reviewing RFP data, discerning what has been received and identifying what is needed to underwrite and release a quote,
  • Partnering with Rating and Quoting to ensure proposals are on track to meet due dates
  • Meeting with team to review inventory status
• Make recommendations regarding benefit / rate options based on analysis of RFP and assessment of customer’s buying triggers through consultative interactions with Sales Executives and customers. 
• Engage key internal stakeholders needed to put together a comprehensive proposal strategy (i.e. dental recruitment, BenTech, Worksite, Enrollment)
• Independently, or in collaboration with Sales Executives:
  • Meet with Underwriting to negotiate rates, exceptions, and approvals; 
  • Discuss RFP, plan design options, and multi-line options with Producers and their assistants,
  • Build strong relationships with underwriting, brokers, and their staff to ensure that customer needs are met while maintaining profitability and acceptable risk.
• Proactively contact Producers / Assistants to follow up on quotes to gauge competitiveness and/or gather post-mortem data.
• If Guardian is awarded the business, work closely with Sales Executive/Underwriter to finalize sold quote and initiate Onboarding process following SOP.
• Handoff and transition case from sales to Onboarding.
• Provide backup support to colleagues as needed.
• Serve as Subject Matter Expert on various Guardian systems and procedures.

• BA or BS degree preferred
• 1-3 years of group insurance experience processing RFP preferred

Salary Range

$51,950.00 - $77,930.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. Job Summary

Located in Chicago, IL, this Senior Risk Manager is responsible for the Corporate Risk Management function inclusive of: risk finance, Captive insurance company reporting and oversight, loss prevention, and claims management.

Essential Functions:
 Responsible for participating in formulating policy, suggesting & coordinating Enterprise loss prevention and control activities, and determining risk financing mechanisms
 Designs, negotiates and approves Property and Casualty Insurance for the Enterprise

  Qualifications:

You will personally handle litigation of a most complex nature involving either the corporation and it's insured within established corporate guidelines, applicable standards of good faith. You will report to the Senior Manager, Legal.

Primary Accountabilities:

• You will handle litigation involving either the corporation and/or it's insured within established corporate guidelines and the applicable code of professional responsibility.
• You will analyze file as litigation progresses and evaluate cases and seeks settlement.
• You will conduct discovery (e.g. written interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and depositions).
• You will conduct motion practice.
• You will draft all necessary pleadings, papers and briefs to advance litigation.
• You will conduct necessary research to support drafting activities.
• You will advocate client position in all forums (state and federal court, alternative dispute resolution, administrative tribunals and regulatory hearings) and circumstances, both.

You will investigate and maintain property field claims, determine cause of loss, secure information, review coverages, write estimates and settle claims. Primary Accountabilities
