Responsible for the training matters for the Travel Retail (TR) SEA selected markets. Reporting to the Retail & Performance Manager, Southeast Asia, he/she is in charge of delivering Parfums Christian Dior training objectives & strategies (i.e. D.I.O.R service levels, Field Coaching scores, Mystery Shopping results, BCs’ engagement level on Training platform etc.). This position will plan and manage all training activity and program schedules for BCs, deliver field coaching and product training for BCs, and conduct generic staff training every quarter.
Create Training Strategy for Region
- Analyze BC performance and identify key gaps to fill/ strengths to develop
- Align training strategy to business objectives to drive business
- Create measurable metrics to track BC productivity and improvement
Training Execution, Performance Coaching & Specialization Plan
- Develop Yearly Training plan based on BC population and commercial needs. Finetune YTG training plan to ensure that brand image and service levels are upheld. Continue to further leverage on sales data performance and Salesforce to improve training curriculum and BC developmental needs
- Adapt Central training materials to fit local specificities and enhance content of existing training support documents when needed
- Create localized training content on MyDior app to create additional hype on focus products such as newness, also in line with commercial objectives
- Deliver product training to BCs in line with sales cycles & training priorities. Oversee Field Coach’s training to Generics for sales cycle novelties
- Deliver new hire induction and specific training/ professionalization courses to grow and develop BC population and field managers
- Deliver product and focus SKU trainings to promoters before trade activations
Field Coaching & Observations
- Regular store visits to observe customer purchase behavior and interact with BCs and customers to more effectively coach and motivate BC population at POS and in-classroom trainings
- Be accountable for D.I.O.R service standards and product expertise of the BC and CM population to drive sales performance
- Oversee Field Coach’s coaching activities at POS with the BC team. Ensure that regular frequency and follow up action are in place with the help of data tools like Power BI and Digital Field Coaching form.
Training Review, Newness Feedback & Analysis
- On counter observation of information retention & impact on BC/promoter service delivery post training sessions, make necessary finetunes to further cater to market needs
- Joint accountability with retail team for BC productivity improvements
- Consolidate newness feedback on shopfloor and coach BCs to enhance conversion
- Review CEA program feedback and tailor training & coaching content to further enhance scoring
Team Management & Development
- Develop and motivate Field Coach to develop expertise in coaching, group training facilitation and simple qualitative reporting
Budget Management & Forecasting
- Plan and monitor training and traveling expenses according to budget & resources optimization
- Ensure uniform, BC grooming and allowance are properly planned and executed for retail team
- Forecasting of uniforms & hygiene tools to ensure sufficient supply for counters
Performance Coaching & Specialization Plan
- Develop & motivate BAs through training & coaching
- Together with retail team, identify and groom high potential BCs into specialization programs
- Work closely with Retail & Training Managers to conduct soft skills and performance coaching training to upskill Counter Managers
Administrative
- Plan training and field coaching calendar plan for BCs and Generic Staff
- Forecast and coordinate yearly grooming, uniform and training incentive gifts for BCs
- Organize year-end annual BA Motivation Dinner with Retail Manager
- Coordinate BA Seminar on training preparation & BA travel arrangement & logistics annually
