A fantastic opportunity is available working for this retail/manufacturing business specialising in interesting and quirky products is looking for an Operations Specialist for a 6 month contact. This position has arisen due to an increase in demand. This position will be a 6 month contact with the possibility of being extended/made permanent based on business needs and personal performance. This role is based in fashionable central Richmond so candidates must be within a reasonable local to commute this position 3 days per week.
Your new role
Your new role will be to maintain customer records on specifications for allocated customers, monitoring all sales orders received and processed.Tracking stock allocation on inhouse tracker, informing customers of delays and dealing with 3PL distribution centre, you will resolve logistical issues, manage pro-forma invoices and liaise with finance accordingly. You will use Oracle so experience using an ERP system is ideal.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful you must be immediately available to start work, have recent experience with operations, logistics, customer service, sales admin or junior supply chain. You will have experience dealing with order processing and using ERP systems. To be considered you must be based locally to Richmond.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

1. Provides direct clinical social work intervention to patients and family members to include assessment and treatment as required due to complications associated with severe adjustment problems related to HIV/AIDS, other infectious diseases, and cancer diagnoses. Provides individual and family therapy required to alleviate problems and to maximize utilization of health care. Provides detailed program specific education to Veteran and families such as HIV/HEP C testing, transmission, and treatment. Performs psychosocial assessments, identifies services needs, establishes service plans, and appropriate interventions. Facilitates group sessions to include HIV, HEP C, and cancer support groups. Coordinates recreational functions/outings for patients. Provides information and referral resources related to HIV/AIDS, other infectious diseases, and cancer.

2. Manages the treatment plan of Veterans who are newly diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, HEP C, and cancer. Offers services throughout the hospital by providing direct clinical care, professional consultation, and education. Makes recommendations to inpatient team for follow-up care, discharge of patients to their homes and other specialized facilities. Initiates referrals and coordinates services with other programs such as mental health, supportive recovery services, suicide prevention, caregiver support services, and homeless services, among others.

3. Has a working knowledge of specialized benefits and services available to Veterans who are newly diagnosed or living with HIV/AIDS, HEP C, and cancer. Maintains large network of referral services and contacts for public benefits, home care, hospice, housing, and transportation. Is familiar with eligibility, referral processes, and assists in completing applications for services.

4. Acts as a liaison between patients and VA providers. Services may include coordination of community-based services, compensation, healthcare, residential placement, and other VA benefits.

5. Ensures provision of social work and health care services are delivered inclusively of all Veterans including those who are LGBTQ+

• Use automated databases to enter, organize and perform preliminary analysis of collected field data, using standard statistical methods in preparation of wildlife and/or botany reports. Analyze and summarize biological data using a variety of database software programs or other presentation approaches, ensuring records are detailed, precise and accurately transferred (e.g., terrestrial, geologic, geographic, hydrologic, ecologic, and environmental data).
• Assist in preparing news release drafts for area media, and/or presenting informational or educational programs to individuals, local organizations, and schools.
• Operates farm tractors, light trucks, vehicles, small water craft and various other equipment such as generators, radios, radio tracking equipment, water monitoring equipment, global positioning systems and cameras. Provides work direction and guidance to biological technicians and volunteers and YCC enrollees, including safe handling of tools and operation of motorized vehicles and watercraft. Collects physiological and demographic data on harvested game at hunter check stations.
