About the role

To act as a lead for structural engineering projects and provide input to building and civil engineering projects through feasibility, detailed design and construction management stages to meet the objectives of Powys County Council in a safe, timely and cost effective manner

Responsibilities

1. To take responsibility for structural projects with prime responsibility for building structural assessments, design calculations, contract drawings and documentation, estimates and reports on projects and undertake such other duties as are allocated.

Enter all clinical appointments onto WPAS and ensure these appointments are cashed up in a timely manner. Prepare information for HCP clinics, liaising with Administrators across numerous sites. Retrieve and input appropriate information from/onto WPAS and WCCIS. Audio typing of clinic letters and reports. Distribution of these via post or WCCIS which includes ensuring referrals are sent to other specialities / hospitals in a timely manner. Track ongoing referrals and monitor their progress. Undertake specialist typing/support duties for clinics held by Health Care Professionals, when required. Deal with all telephone enquiries coming into the Service, including from members of the public who may be irate or distressed or have concerns regarding service delivery. Complete any statistical data as required in respect of contracts and services. Undertake the ordering of administrative supplies via Oracle as required. Ensure where necessary follow up appointments are arranged, and caseloads managed appropriately in accordance with WG targets. Manage the Service waiting list under the direction of Team Leaders in accordance with WG targets. Liaise with service clinical staff ensuring messages are given and received in a timely manner and enquiries dealt with efficiently. Scan or upload reports and correspondence to the electronic record system (WCCIS) in a timely manner and following Powys guidelines. Maintain comprehensive office systems ensuring prompt access to information. Support the local audit process by producing statistical figures as requested by the Respiratory Clinical Lead. We have an exiting opportunity to join local authority as a Waste Recycling Loader on a Temporary, Full Time contract based in Rhayader, Wales.

Key responsibility:

• Collect refuse from bins or bags presented at designated collection points or from households that require assisted support.
• Return bins without causing obstruction in line with expectations.
• Collect garden, other bagged waste, bulky items; assist with skip collections and provision of liners as required
• Report any accidents, faults or repair needs promptly.
• Commitment to a work pattern which reflects service delivery needs.
• Complete timesheets, accident books or other records in a timely manner.
• Undertaking other cleaning duties, support waste sort arrangements and delivery of new bins as required.

Skills and experience:

• Experience of carrying out physical demanding work.
• Numeracy and literacy skills to complete basic documentation.
• Works well alone or as part of a team.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• CPC Driving Qualification
• Full UK Driving License
