St Mary’s is a residential special school and college for pupils / students aged 5 to 19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties and other associated SEND.

We are seeking to recruit a Business Support Administrator. The successful candidate will work in our busy back office as part of our business and admin team. This is a full-time position for 37.5 hours per week over 52 weeks. This post attracts 8 weeks annual leave.

Our client is currently looking for a Assistant Management Accountant to assist the Management Accountant in the preparation of reports and documentation for review by the Finance Manager or HR and Finance Director, for publication to the board of Directors and various external stakeholders.


**Main Duties and Responsibilities**




* Maintain the fixed asset register.
* Reconcile Cash and Banking
* Preparation of periodic VAT Returns
* Submission of Goods and Services Tax return (GST)
* Assist with the preparation of month end journals such as prepayments, accruals and depreciation.
* Oversee the UK Stock Reconciliation
* Maintain UK HSBC Import Funding
* Create and maintain monthly P&L and BS reconciliation templates
* Obtain and post AMEX Statements
* Obtain and post HSBC Corporate Credit Card Statements
* Obtain Facebook and Tiktok Invoices
* Assist with production on month end Management Accounts
* Assist with Management Accounts during times of absence

The Business Support Assistant (Urgent Care) will be a member of this central team, but work with a main focus on supporting a number of internal Urgent Care functions and activities. The post holder will be expected to work efficiently and flexibly to provide comprehensive, high quality support for a wide range of regular administrative tasks and processes, including workforce and recruitment. The postholder will be required to work in a busy and demanding environment and will need to exercise initiative and function autonomously, with guidance from the PMO Manager and wider Urgent Care Team where necessary. As first point of contact, the postholder will oversee a generic email account, and provide accurate support to staff and managers in relation to corporate processes. The postholder should be able to work on their own initiative, with limited supervision on a day to day basis, and have a flexible approach to their work in order to deal with conflicting demands and tight deadlines. Good interpersonal skills are important for dealing with colleagues and external visitors, as is the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Interviews will take place on the 5th September and will be face to face. Office attendance is required for the post when working Monday to Friday.

The Assistant Project Support Officer will support the Improvement Team in delivering a variety of projects both across the Trust and in conjunction with wider healthcare system partners. The post holder will provide assistance with tasks to support the delivery of Improvement projects and programmes run by the Improvement Team and support the wider workplace leaders and colleagues throughout our Trust using the tools and techniques of the Improvement System. The Project Lead for each Improvement Project will usually be an Improvement Facilitator, Improvement Specialist or Senior Improvement Specialist. The post will be a blended role in conjunction with the Project Management Office providing project support. The postholder will be specifically involved in supporting the acceleration of share and spread of improvement initiatives across the organisation. Key Duties: To ensure all staff within the Improvement Team are fully supported with Improvement projects and programmes work including timely completion of associated administration tasks. Develop a working knowledge of all aspects of the Improvement System Support the accurate production of project and programme correspondence and documents utilising Microsoft Office suite to a high standard. Collate, analyse, monitor and present project and programme data and information as required using Improvement System tools and techniques. Build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the Trust and with our wider healthcare partners. Communicate effectively with internal/external stakeholder, resolving and answering queries promptly and escalating queries to the Project Lead where necessary. Develop a process to accurately record and monitor the progress of projects and programmes and ensure tracking of key milestones.
