About the role

The Lab Pack Project Manager’s main function is to administer and monitor all aspects of projects from price quotation and bidding through to job completion.

Project Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred
• Previous Lab Packing Experience Required
• 5 - 7 Years experience in lab packing operations preferred
• 2-4 years supervisory experience required
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills which include Microsoft Office

The Project Manager Main Responsibilities:

• Develops and manages small and large scale lab pack projects
• Responsible for Business development of Lab Pack services for target clients
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

• Perform risk management to minimize project risks

• Seek out new projects, visit sites and prepare proposals for projects.
• Completes all required safety training, operational procedures training, RCRA training, equipment and machine training, and other training as provided and required by Circon

What You Will Do:

JOB SUMMARY

This job provides Information Security and Risk Management services for the Organization. Works with peers within security, HM Health Solutions customers and application teams to ensure alignment with current and future security needs. Manages activities of various Information Security personnel. Makes decisions on personnel actions (promotions, hiring, terminations, etc.). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the construction process and provide updates and reports to the appropriate internal and external business partners
• Resolve any issues that may arise, by providing solutions and/or guidance and reporting any impact to operations, the schedule and the budget
• Be the primary contact for the operations team
• Manage any issues/conditions relevant to the terms of the Lease including but not limited to: Survey prospective sites and review conditions, negotiate with Landlords any construction items, provide budgets that reflect site conditions, review and approve construction documents for conformity to Lease and relevance to site conditions
• Report site conditions and provide guidance for store design
• Track Landlord construction progress, review sites/conditions and conduct delivery inspection with Landlords
• Conduct Five Below construction RFP process with General Contractors, negotiate final construction contract
• Determine construction schedule, manage the job schedule with vendors and coordinators and conduct final inspection with the store opening team, identifying any deficiencies
• Ensure that all outstanding Landlord or Five Below construction related punch list items are completed to satisfaction at the appropriate time
• Provide cost guidance with respect to any changes to the project
• Review all construction related costs on all projects, identify any potential opportunities for savings and value engineer
• Periodically conduct the RFP process to introduce new vendors in order to capture potential efficiencies and economies
• Provide guidance to store maintenance regarding potential warranty issues with regards to Landlord or Five Below General Contractor work
• Manage remodels for existing stores, coordinating all efforts of legal, design, operations and outside vendors

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, implement and oversee all plant operating, maintenance and repair procedures and policies based on industry standards and code requirements.  Sets priorities in assignments including training. Ensures scheduling of plant operations staff 24 hours per day, 365 days per year to ensure proper operation of the facilities and grounds. (20%)
• Work with the department leadership to prepare, monitor, and control the annual operating budget, and reduce departmental cost. Assists in the development of the departmental capital budget for the fiscal year. (15%)
• Prepares reports on completed tasks, safety committee, and participates in process improvement initiatives. (10%)
• Train and develop personnel in relevant activities and safety practices.  Manages all performance of employees in area of responsibility. Evaluates work, and recommends and implements approved disciplinary action. (10%)
• Oversees preventive maintenance and ensures meeting regulatory compliance for DOH and Joint Commission. (15%)
• Direct, manage and evaluate maintenance personnel. Counsel, discipline, and discharge subordinate personnel when necessary. Interview and hire personnel as required. (20%)
• Manage and/or perform the operations of the maintenance management computer system. This includes system design, upgrading, programming and implementation thereof.  (10%)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Prior job related experience of at least 3- 5 years.
• 3 years in a management role
• License as required for area of expertise.

• Responsible for the maintenance of overall core communication content.

• Understand as-is processes, maintain documentation on standard processes, and develop/prepare recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.

• Understand, document, and partner with team to report key data metrics to our stakeholders.

• Provide general project management support to the Total Rewards team, as needed.

• Execute on other operational/tactical goals for the team.
