Our client, based in Lincoln, is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Management Accountant to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen: they will be instrumental in the development, planning and implementation of accounting controls and processes as well as developing and delivering relevant management information, and will also lead the Finance Team.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible start/finish times.

Location: Office Based in Lincoln (TBC)

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

The ROLE
Due to continued growth of their business an opportunity has arisen for a talented Project Manager to join their successful team. The Project Manager will be responsible for executing projects from inception to conclusion, this will include confirming equipment selection, coordinating schedule for drafting and manufacturing, maintaining a cost budget, handling technical and commercial correspondence, etc.
You will be responsible for delivering a project (ranging from £50K to £1/2M) from order through to commissioning - on time and under budget! This role will involve;

* Client meetings
* Some international travel
* Arranging manufacture/production schedule
* Working closely with the buyer to get best price

Basically assuming responsibility for getting the job done.

The minutiae of the role will include;
* Review shop order file and confirm scope of supply
* Confirms equipment selection
* Coordinates drafting for job
* Establishes and tracks the cost budget
* Maintains delivery schedule for job
* Coordinates all required technical and commercial correspondence with internal and external stakeholders
* Notifies Accounting Department when billings are to be sent.

The CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be a talented professional Project Manager with experience preferably within a similar environment allied to the desire, ability and confidence to forge a career within a market leading organisation. You will require;

Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director (finance trained), you will be responsible for producing monthly management accounts including group consolidation, quarterly VAT returns, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, analysis, payroll, stock, looking after insurances and utilities and supporting the production of the group's statutory accounts as well as supervising a small team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be AAT, part-qualified, qualified by experience or a qualified Accountant used to working in an SME environment. You will have experience of producing management accounts, VAT returns, helping to create and manage budgets, UK GAAP, double entry bookkeeping, consolidations. You will have good IT skills, including Excel. Exposure to Sage 200 would be beneficial. You will be a team player, a self-starter, able to work on your own initiative, able to develop ideas and influence colleagues. You will have strong attention to detail, be articulate and have strong communication skills. You will be living in an easy commute of the Skegness area as the role is fully office based.

Working alongside a team of support workers, and the Mental Health Operations Manager, you will ensure the service provides flexible and bespoke, outcome-focused support packages to vulnerable single people, couples and families and expectant mothers over the age of sixteen to maintain their accommodation independently or who require HRS to access accommodation.

You will offer support the Operations Manager to line manage a staff team to ensure that they are working to meet service user goals and aspirations. You will also undertake a range of holistic assessments. You will work in a strengths based way to understand service user needs, and risk, creating support plans and accurate records on our ECCO system.
