• Perform routine cleaning of sculptures as required.
• Assist in maintenance work for sculptures that requires minor maintenance.

Program and Event

• Assist in the coordination and delivery of special events and programs at the centre.
• Use effective communication to inform guests of event schedules and activity details.

Safety and Administration

• Monitor the safety of visitors and assign area, report any issues or malfunctions, and assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Prepare and carry out daily opening and closing of the centre.

The Program Manager (Design and Print) coordinates the work of DCBE's three visual information specialists and one of DCBE's consumer education specialists to plan, budget for, and carry out the design and print program. The Program Manager also serves as an advisor to the management and staff of various organizations within the FTC on all matters related to DCBE's graphic design and print program, oversees the coordination of these activities with external organizations, and represents the Division in Agency and public forums. In addition, the Program Manager:

* Manages and has complete oversight for the design and print program, which has a combined annual budget of nearly $2 million. Oversees the work of the consumer education specialist that also serves as the Division COR to manage contractors and contracts, which are an integral part of the design and print program. These activities include overseeing inter-agency agreements with GSA's Government Publishing Office (GPO), performing site inspections, engaging as needed with GPO printers and their distribution facility in Pueblo, Colorado, and making recommendations to streamline and improve processes and the program.

* Ensures major management performance objectives are being met, including meeting Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA) measures related to print and distribution; ensuring operations are within budget and comply with division and agency policy; are economical, effective, and efficient; and providing timely, relevant reports that meet internal and external reporting requirements.

* Plans, organizes, reports, and makes decisions related to achieving agency, bureau, and division graphic design and print objectives.

* Supervises the work of three visual information specialists and one of the division's consumer education specialists. As Ecommerce Design Manager, your role is to ensure the delivery of high quality creative work that drives performance across key areas of the business including content for the Teemill Platform, designs and content for top VIP stores, and content for own brands. You’re responsible for leading the design team in creating and maintaining high-quality, visually lead creative products and marketing that gets results across a range of platforms and channels (video, social, display, paid & organic channels, & some on-platform content) You’ll create interesting and inspiring campaigns that generate awareness of the Teemill brand and help the right audience find the Teemill platform as we look to expand globally. You’ll also create quality marketing content that help Teemill store owners reach their customers and grow their business, through quality print designs, store builds, marketing graphics and AI photography made available on the platform. In leading the design team, you’ll also ensure that good work cascades down to the Teemill platform, ensuring that we’re constantly iterating and improving it as we go. You’ll train and mentor the design team, helping them to improve their knowledge and understanding of best practices, supporting them in their growth.

Responsibilities
•Responsible for delivering high quality creative work through effective management of the design team
•Effectively managing the creative process and looking for ways to iterate and improve it
•Working closely with our marketing team to create thumb-stopping, striking marketing content that promotes Teemilll and grows established brands already on our platform
•Ensuring that quality work is maximised by adding it on to the Teemill platform
•Contributing to campaign ideas and marketing offers, making sure that they’re executed to the highest standard
•Ensuring that individuals and teams consistently deliver high-quality content and that deadlines are met
•Take ownership of key metrics such as store conversion rate, product bestsellers, & store success rate
•To be on top of current trends and be enthusiastic to bring fresh ideas and concepts to the table
•To ensure all brand standards are met by reviewing all content produced at an individual and team level Mentoring the design team and helping them to develop their design and marketing skills

Qualifications
Essential: University degree 2:1 or above in design/marketing related field
Experience
Essential

•At least 5 years experience working as a designer or advertising creative
•At least 2 years experience managing a design team
•Adept in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
•Experience in producing video and animated content

A Kent based contractor specialising in new build and refurbishment schemes for across multiple sectors of the built environment with projects in excess of £100 million in value.

The project this role is being recruited for is a £20 million Two-Stage Design & Build education complex in Kent.

The role:

As the Design Manager you will be a key person that is instrumental in the company's ongoing success and will be

• Reporting to the Contracts Manager in conjuction with the Head of Design and working alongside other Design Managers within the business.
• Producing design programmes, design scopes, design responsibility matrices, appointments and schedules.
• Responsible for the management and delivery of design information in line with agreed design programme and deliverable schedule for projects due to commence on site and in progress.
• Ensuring appointed Design Consultants and Engineers carry out their duties in accordance with their appointment.
• Attending and chairing necessary meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Value Engineering to achieve desired outcomes and maximise project profitability.
• Working collaboratively with commercial and delivery teams.
• Ensure design is compliant with planning conditions and legislative requirements.

To be successful in this role:

• Previous experience of working within the Department for Education construction framework.
• Previous experience in the same or similar role is essential for either a developer, contractor or consultancy.
• Be able to manage the design process for your project autonomously.
• Sound technical knowledge of design packages and ability to input at key project stages including consultant selection, procurement and project delivery.
• Educated to degree level or HNC/HND in a relevant discipline.
• Experience of working on multiple projects running concurrently with values in excess of £5m would be an advantage but not essential.
