UX & Design Lead 12-month FTC | HIGH WYCOMBE
We’re looking for a fabulous UX & Design Lead to join our Online Business team and play a key role in supporting the Online Experience Manager in analysing, monitoring and driving improvements to our website/app performance across all devices with the aim of improving our business KPIs, such as conversion, through enhanced UX and design.
This role also involves managing the Design team, ensuring all digital touch points are managed efficiently and kept up to date.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Take accountability for working with the Commercial team and other key internal stakeholders and/or suppliers to incorporate relevant rich content into web pages and emails, escalating to the Online Experience Manager where necessary.
· Guide and advise the business by creating wire frames and visualisations of improved UX and design functionality, ensuring you provide expert UX and customer journey knowledge.
· Monitor competitor activity for key user journeys along with building general awareness of best-in-class user experience.
· Build and source research that can be shared across the business to benefit our website/app performance, working with internal teams to analyse and improve the performance of key user journeys, utilising customer feedback and Google Analytics data, providing insights to the Online Experience Manager.
· Create multivariate and A/B testing plans and use the results to improve the relevant business KPIs, sharing insights to the rest of the team.
· Build and support the UX and Design team to deliver against the business and department objectives
· Lead the team with any ad-hoc projects, ensuring tasks are completed within the required timescales to meet the business requirements
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
· Experience as a UX designer or a Visual Design background
· Have strong Google Analytics skills and the ability to carry out user research to reveal usability issues hindering the customer journey
· Previous experience leading a team
· An excellent understanding of user centred design and UX best practice
· A good understanding of multivariate or A/B testing and working knowledge of A/B testing tools
