We have an exciting opportunity for a teacher of art to join a large and well-resourced curriculum team. Design technology and art are extremely popular at both GCSE and A Level, and we offer a wide range of subjects. Each subject area (product design, textiles, food, art, engineering, construction, creative technology, and child development) consists of at least 2 specialist rooms with a compliment of specialist resources as well as our own computer suite. The large curriculum team consists of experienced teachers and 3 technicians who will always offer help and guidance to make staff feel welcome and supported both within the team and the school.

We are looking for a driven and well-qualified (inclusive of ECT’s) teacher of art who, under the support and guidance of the Director of Design, Art, and Technology, will assist with the development of art in the school. What you’ll be doing

You'll also produce and analyse performance indicators (KPIs), conduct audits to ensure compliance, and resolve configuration-related issues or non-conformance matters. Who you are

Job Summary

We would like to get on board a Telecommunication engineer (or similar) to work inside of the railway communication infrastructure area, to develop and deploy communication transport solutions (fixed and radio) for large international railway projects. Main tasks to be performed by the COMMS engineer:

o Analysis of project requirements and propose the solutions accordingly.

o Development of system technical specifications.

o Development of system architectures and integration with 3rd parties' systems.

o Technical interface with customers and other contractors.

o Realization of testing and commissioning works onsite.

o Network troubleshooting for wired and wireless systems both.

o Technical support to systems once into operation after commissioning.

o Onsite testing and commissioning.

The Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

• Minimum 2 years experience working on various communication systems technologies such as fibre-optic transmissions, digital trunked radio, public address and telephony, CCTV surveillance, access management and travel information systems preferred

JOB DIMENSION (SCOPE)

• Coordinate design drawings with consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities.
• Review and provide solutions to technical problems as well as plan, monitor and report shop drawing production progress.
• Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings.
• Resolve construction issues on drawings and liaise closely with Architectural and M&E teams as well as the authorities.
• Supervise a team of BIM Modelers to produce coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans
• Assist in doing tenders.

REQUIREMENT

• Possess a Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with relevant design working experience with contractors.
• Preferably a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Be conversant in British & Singapore Design Standards
• Be independent, analytical, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills.
