Hours: 10 AM – 6:30PM

SUMMARY:
This multifaceted position combines responsibilities in cost accounting and payroll management. The primary payroll duties involve overseeing daily and weekly time and attendance activities in KRONOS Dimensions, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, processing payroll-related data in SAP Payroll, and addressing team members' inquiries. In the realm of cost accounting, the role includes generating daily/weekly reports for plant management, aiding in the upload of variance information into SAP, and providing support for self-audits of critical processes. Additionally, the position involves managing employee supply processes, including inventory, and ordering of various supplies, as well as handling other tasks such as records retention, SAP/Coupa PO receiving, and supporting HR initiatives within the plant. Adaptability to emerging duties and projects is essential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PAYROLL DUTIES:
- Assist plant supervision with daily and weekly time and attendance activities in KRONOS Dimensions.
- Monitor plant time analytics in KRONOS Dimensions and maintain process within tolerance.
- Provide training to new supervisors as needed.
- Ensure weekending payroll/T &A is completed per corporate policies.
- Process approved vacation, holiday, and sick pay into appropriate payroll system.
- Enter payroll deductions into SAP Payroll.
- Complete AskHR/Box Office tickets as needed.
- Assist team members with payroll questions/concerns and accessing AskHR.
COST ACCOUNTING DUTIES:
- Daily/weekly reporting to plant management.
- Assist Controller/Accountant with plant variance information for upload into SAP.
- Provide support to plant management team, including monitoring processes in production areas.
- Assist plant management team with self-audits of critical processes determined by corporate accounting.
- Manage employee supply processes which includes boots, freezer jackets, cafeteria, and employee sales. Maintain inventory and ordering of office supplies, cafeteria supplies and miscellaneous employee supplies.
- Perform other duties and projects as they arise. Other duties include, but are not limited to records retention, enter PO receiving in SAP/Coupa and supporting HR with plant activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 3+ years' experience.
- Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills including using a Tyson Business Computer System as well as Microsoft Office & Excel, SAP Preferred.
- Communication Skills: Requires written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of management. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others. Assignments are defined and the approach to be taken is usually determined in coordination with others.
